Kathy Bailey

Before joining KS Strategies, Kathy spent decades as a successful attorney representing clients in challenging and diverse matters. Over time, her practice evolved to include a greater emphasis on business transactions and an interest in international development. A trade mission to Tunisia in 2012, shortly after the Tunisian revolution, highlighted the opportunities for public and private sector development.

 

Since that time, she has used the advocacy and negotiation skills developed in her legal practice to promote US-North Africa relationships. As an example, she matched the Ministries of Higher Education and Agriculture in Tunisia with Texas A & M University for a University Linkage program with soil research and exchange programs.

She is the CEO of Travis Wine Imports, LLC, the only US importer of wines from Tunisia.  

 

Kathy serves on the Board of Directors of the Tunisian American Young Professionals; an organization focused on connecting Tunisian professionals with US based diaspora members.
